The Order of the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh–Essex Division is an Irish-American cultural and social organization who work to preserve our Irish traditions and heritage and to share them with the community at large.
If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit our Club or to attend one of our numerous charitable, cultural, or community events, we would love to welcome you to visit the Shillelagh Pub, our bar and kitchen which are open to the public. We host live entertainment every Friday and Saturday night, featuring terrific local and regional acts. We also have great food (especially our burgers), craft beer, an extensive whiskey list, and we undoubtedly pour the best pint of Guinness on this side of the Atlantic. Come on by and say, “Hello!”

This Saturday, July 20, the Shillelagh welcomes Dakota Leigh to perform from 8 til 11. Dakota was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. In 2014, she moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music. In 2020, Dakota became a full-time musician, performing regularly on Broadway in Nashville, hitting the stages at Tootsies, Ole Red, Kid Rock's, Whiskey Bent Saloon, the Second Fiddle, Tin Roof, and Redneck Riviera.
With a passion and a sound that emulates if Cher, Stevie Nicks, and Alanis Morissette, she carries a unique vibe within her performances that will keep you intrigued and in your emotions. With a set list ranging from 50's and 60's oldies, 70's yacht rock, 80's rockn'roll, 90's pop hits, and a handful of country tunes, you'll be sure to have a good time at a show.
The kitchen will be open and there is on cover. The Shillelagh is open to the public and all are welcome.
