Yeah, okay, it’s a Scottish thing, but let’s be real, you were looking for a good opportunity to try Haggis all your life.
Brought to you by the same people who threw Oktoberfest in an Irish Pub: We’re celebrating Rabbie Burns, The Bard of Ayrshire, on his birthday by serving up Haggis, Neeps & Tatties, and a Beef Roast. We will recite An Ode to the Haggis, share whisky, and make fun of those who chicken out on their meal.
For those who don’t know: The Burns Supper is an annual celebration held on January 25, which is the birthday of Robert “Rabbie” Burns, Scotland’s National Poet. Auld Lang Syne is probably the one you know, or maybe Tam O’Shanter or To A Mouse. Regardless, it is a wonderful opportunity for the Scottish diaspora, fellow Celts, and the curious to gather and enjoy haggis and whisky.
Scottish or not, we invite you to come out and enjoy the evening with us. We are limiting the attendance to safe distanced occupancy levels either in our upstairs banquet hall or to our outdoor covered/heated deck.
While all are accepted, any Highland clothing/accessory is recommended, and Scottish formalwear celebrated.
Definitely wear a kilt if you’ve got one. Membership not required for admission, this is a public event.
$45 for Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh Members, $55 for visitors. Ticket is for dinner courses only, alcohol is not included.
